The President of the Liberia National University Sports Federation (LNUSF) has written an official communication to the President of the West Africa University Sports Federation (WAUSF), Mr. Ibrahim Shaibu Tanko, congratulating the Federation on the successful hosting of the National University Games in Nigeria.
In a letter of felicitation, the LNUSF President Mr. Kesselee King Kanneh, on behalf of the Federation and in his own capacity, extended warmest felicitations to the (WAUSF) leadership, the Organizing Committee, and all participating universities and student-athletes
We commend the Federation for its leadership and commitment to promoting excellence, friendship, youth development, and regional integration through university sports, the letter stated.
The LNUSF President noted that while Liberia was regrettably unable to participate in this year's edition, the Federation remains committed to the ideals and objectives of WAUSF.
We wish to reaffirm our unwavering commitment to the Federation and its objectives, We look forward with optimism to participating in the next edition and proudly presenting a strong delegation of Liberian universities and student-athletes, he said.
He also extended best wishes to all participating delegations for a successful hosting of the Games marked by fair play, sportsmanship, excellence, and African solidarity.
